The Avenues Listings

The Avenues has a rich history, all thanks to John Bidwell. He subdivided an area of land that encompassed North of his Mansion home located near Downtown. The area is now known as The Avenues, it’s real name being Chico Vecino. It’s a gorgeous plot of land with thousands of trees scattered about, immersing the beautiful homes in the shade, and towering above everything. John Bidwell brought in hundreds of different species of trees, so the variety of foliage in the area is awe-inspiring. Sidewalks are strewn about, leading past some quaint single-story homes complete with porches and white picket fences, as well as some impressive two-story homes. It’s one of the older communities in Chico, but the neighborhood has kept it in amazing shape.
